Brighten, the Hong Kong-based boutique investment firm, and Amazing Global, the independent entertainment investment firm, will sponsor the 2019 edition of the HKTag Challenge.
Now into its fifth year, the Brighten HKTag Challenge is the first event of the Hong Kong Tag annual calendar and pits both social and corporate teams against each other in a race for the title. It’s one-day format makes for non-stop action, entertainment and upsets.
On Saturday 4 May, eight teams will compete across two pools and spectators can expect the usual mix of fun and highly-fought competition, as many of last year’s finalists return to battle it out. The format remains mixed seven-a-side with a minimum of three female players on the playing field at all times.
As in previous years, all teams will have access to water and on-site first aid. Players should come prepared with plenty of sun cream, water bottles and food to keep fully hydrated and fueled throughout the day. Food and beverage will also be available for spectators and players alike at the main bar and restaurant.
The contest continues into the evening with the finals of the Hong Kong Rugby League Nines (also at King’s Park).
