Battle of Origin

HKTag Battle of Origin pits the best of HKTag against each other in an all-day battle between the north and south of Hong Kong.

Based on the NRL State of Origin concept, this HKTag domestic tournament sees residents of Kowloon and the New Territories compete against Hong Kong Islanders, in a tussle for the top spot. The tournament is split into two divisions: men’s and women’s.

The 2018 edition is took place on 7 July 2018 at 7.30pm, King’s Park Sports Ground.

• As of 2018, competition fee is 700HKD per squad of 14
• Each game is 35 minutes long with a half time break
• Up to seven players on the pitch at all times.
