Team Standard Chartered joins Deloitte, JP Morgan and team “Butter Beer”, as one of four teams to participate in this year’s HKTag Corporate Challenge 2019.
As Standard Chartered’s newest team in Hong Kong tasked with launching its brand new virtual bank, the team are already looking forward to taking on an even bigger challenge; trying tag rugby. The squad are a mix of old rugby heads and newbies to the game, with this tournament being many of the squad’s first exposure to tag. Formed over the past six months from all corners of the world, in spite of the pressure of the day job, the team are spending their spare time practicing their lines and moves in the hope of surviving the tournament in one piece.
Corporate Tag Challenge is a six-week tournament, which sees four teams compete for the brand new Corporate Tag Challenge title. The event will take place this year from 24 April to 29 May 2019.
