On Sunday 27 May 2018, 12 teams will compete for the fourth annual HKTag Challenge crown, in the first major event of the HKTag summer season.
The all-day tournament will take place at King’s Park Sports Ground, Kowloon, starting at 8.30am, and finishing by sun-down.
The contest continues into the evening with the finals of the Redsip HK Rugby League 9s (also at King’s Park), followed by presentations and after party at Wan Chai Stadium from 7pm.
Spectators can expect the usual mix of fun and highly-fought competition from the Redsip HKTag Challenge, as last year’s finalists return to battle it out, their sights firmly fixed on the top spot. Teams will compete in two pools across the day, with the Final expected to take place at around 5.30pm*.

As in previous years, all teams will have access to a players’ tent, water and on-site first aid. Players should come prepared with plenty of sun cream, water bottles and food to keep fully hydrated and fueled throughout the day. Food and beverage will also be available for spectators and players alike at the main bar and restaurant.
“Tag is growing rapidly because it’s inclusive, giving both men and women a chance to play a fantastic sport together,” explains Laura Fernández, HKTag Manager. “Given the success of our last season, when we saw the highest number of players joining our different competitions, we expect more teams than ever to play in our 2018 Challenge which promises to be a highly competitive one.”
